Berachain’s mainnet was launched in Feb 2025. As of June 2025, it stands as a top 10 L1 by TVL, and one of the only L1 ecosystems with a means of returning value to its tokenholders through Proof of Liquidity. The native ecosystem consists of dozens of teams across DeFi, DePIN, RWAFi, consumer crypto, gaming, AI and more, with corporate partners including some of the world’s largest brands in sports, entertainment, and payments.

As Berachain expands beyond a highly crypto native audience and works to onboard more traditional and institutional capital, we're seeking a seasoned Head of Investor Relations to lead communications and positioning with both private and public market participants.


Role Overview

The Head of Investor Relations (IR) will be responsible for shaping Berachain’s narrative to institutional investors, managing external communications related to the BERA token, and leading strategic investor engagements globally. You will act as the bridge between the core team and the investor ecosystem, ensuring alignment, clarity, and trust.

This is a senior, visible, and high-impact role at the intersection of finance, strategy, and communications.


Key Responsibilities

  • Investor Positioning & Communication

    • Craft compelling narratives and presentations to articulate the BERA token’s role in the Berachain ecosystem and broader crypto landscape.

    • Own the development of investor materials: pitch decks, token reports, ecosystem updates, and FAQs.

    • Deliver clear, consistent, and compliant messaging to institutional investors across all channels.

  • Investor Engagement & Roadshows

    • Lead global investor roadshows, virtual briefings, and 1:1 meetings to educate and onboard both crypto-native and traditional investors.

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with a broad spectrum of capital allocators including VCs, hedge funds, family offices, and asset managers.

    • Collaborate with the Business Development and Partnerships teams to align capital introductions with ecosystem growth.

  • Capital Market Intelligence

    • Monitor market sentiment, token performance, regulatory trends, and peer Layer 1 positioning.

    • Provide insights to the executive team to help refine messaging, token economics, and go-to-market strategy.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration

    • Work closely with Legal, Marketing, Ecosystem, and Product teams to ensure consistent and compliant communication.

    • Support internal strategy with investor feedback and capital market insights.


Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Experience

    • 7–10+ years in Investor Relations, Capital Markets, or Fundraising, with at least 2+ years focused on crypto, fintech, or alternative assets.

    • Background in one or more of the following:

      • Leading IR at a Layer 1 blockchain project

      • Investor or IR role at a crypto-native VC or hedge fund

      • Buy-side experience at a traditional asset manager (e.g. BlackRock, Fidelity, etc.)

      • Alternative asset fundraising or capital formation experience

  • Skills & Attributes

    • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a knack for simplifying complex ideas.

    • Deep understanding of crypto tokenomics, Web3 ecosystems, and investor psychology.

    • Ability to navigate both crypto-native and TradFi cultures seamlessly.

    • High EQ, presence, and professionalism for high-stakes investor conversations.

    • Willingness to travel for conferences, roadshows, and investor meetings.
